4-Layer Polycarbonate Panels — 7' × 19'

Building your own greenhouse frame? Glaze it with the same 4-layer polycarbonate we put on every CatchSunlight kit — sold individually in 6mm, 8mm, and 12mm thicknesses, with the hardware to install it cleanly.

Mounting a curved 4-layer polycarbonate panel to a high-tunnel frame

Built for Elevation, Cold, and Real Snow Load

These aren't a generic hardware-store panel. It's the exact 4-layer polycarbonate CatchSunlight installs on every kit we build — four walls of polycarbonate forming three sealed air channels for real insulation value, a UV-stabilized outer face so it doesn't yellow or go brittle after years in high-elevation sun, and a hail-impact rating with a snow-shedding profile.

Every panel — 6mm ($240), 8mm ($280), or 12mm ($320) — is backed by a 10-year warranty against cracking and significant yellowing.

One Size, Three Thicknesses

Every panel is approximately 7' wide × 19' long. Pick the thickness that fits your build — thicker panels add rigidity and insulation value for larger spans or harsher exposure; 6mm is the workhorse most builders start with.

6mm

Standard glazing thickness

The thickness used on every CatchSunlight kit. Best balance of cost, weight, and insulation for most high-tunnel and hoop-house builds.

8mm

Added rigidity

A step up in stiffness and insulation value — worth considering for larger unsupported spans or sites with heavier exposure.

12mm

Maximum thickness

The heaviest-duty option we stock. Best suited to structures built for year-round use in the harshest conditions.

Not sure which thickness fits your design? Call or email — CatchSunlight can walk through the tradeoffs for your specific build.

Accessories We Stock Alongside the Panels

The same hardware our own crews use for a clean, weathertight install — sold alongside the panels so you're not hunting down parts separately.

Two-part butt-joint connector used to seam adjoining polycarbonate panels

Butt-Joint Connectors

Two-part snap connectors that seam adjoining panels into one continuous, weathertight run ($45 per 19').

H-channel trim profile for polycarbonate panel edges

H-Channel Trim

Edge and joint trim that finishes panel edges cleanly and keeps moisture out of the flute channels ($25 per 19').

Self-drilling screws with gasketed washers for mounting polycarbonate panels

Screws & Gasketed Washers

Self-drilling screws with gasketed washers that seal every mounting point against leaks (17 cents per washer, 10 cents per screw).
